Have you ever looked up at the sky and seen shapes that reminded you of something familiar? Maybe you spotted clouds that resembled the ocean or even a playful dog. And if you have a vivid imagination, you might even see cats, birds, or even scary monsters. Sometimes, the signs we need come in unexpected ways.
In 2018, Danny Ferraro and his wife Carmen were driving on Highway 105 outside of Montgomery, Texas when something caught their eye. As they looked up at the sky, the morning sun illuminated the clouds, revealing the outline of an angel. Its halo appeared to be perfectly placed, as if it were a divine message.
The sight was so awe-inspiring that Danny couldn’t help but capture the moment with a photo. He shared it on Facebook, where it captivated many. He lovingly referred to it as the Texas Angel.
Danny recalls the moment, saying, “On Monday evening, we were heading to deal with more family issues and dreading it. As we turned west on Highway 105 in Montgomery, I immediately noticed the cloud formation and the brilliant rays of the sun straight ahead of us, and I told Carmen, ‘Wow, look at that!’… We both saw the angel and felt that it meant everything would be okay. I felt like God was saying, ‘I’m always with you.’ I don’t know how many others saw it, but I’m sure it meant something special to everyone who did… It lasted for just a few moments, but I grabbed my phone and the first picture I took was spectacular,” Danny shared with NBC.
The astounding photo of the angel in the clouds seemed like a personal message from a higher power to Danny and Carmen, especially since they consider themselves Christians. But regardless of one’s beliefs, this photo serves as a reminder that life is filled with moments of beauty and wonder. Sometimes, if we’re lucky enough, we can even feel the gentle touch of angelic rays on our faces.
