Since his days on Friends, the 55-year-old actor seems to have changed considerably.
Matt was dressed in a gray T-shirt with the Ford logo and blue trousers, well known for his role as ladies’ man Joey Tribbiani in the iconic US comedy Friends.
As he dragged a Ralphs shopping bag to his car, the Series actor wore a defeated expression.
Matt has kept a low profile after his split from TV producer Aurora Mulligan.
The Sun reported in February that he had ended his six-year relationship with his British partner.
The former Top Gear host and Aurora, who works on the show, are said to have “made a clean break,” but the feelings are still there.
The couple became involved in 2016 when Matt became the BBC show’s first non-UK host.
The Sun first reported their romance in May, and they were spotted together in June at the Hickstead Derby in West Sussex, England.
According to viewers, they appeared “besotted.”
In 2017, they made their red carpet debut at a film festival in New York, and in 2018, they attended the UK premiere of Top Gear’s 25th season.
Matt, a single father, joked on social media that he was an “old geezer,” while Aurora, a Northern Irish woman, responded to him as “honey.”
They maintained a quiet profile in Los Angeles, where Matt moved in 2019. Matt was formerly linked to actress Andrea Anders.
Matt and Aurora’s relationship, according to a source, has terminated. It’s all finished now.
“It’s a terrible shame, and Matt, like anyone else, has taken the news very hard.”
He and Aurora fell in love on Top Gear, and despite their substantial age gaps, they were a perfect fit.
“However, when he revealed that he was quitting Top Gear to pursue other interests, it was difficult for them.” Aurora spent a lot of time traveling while working in the UK and is currently primarily located in Los Angeles.
Matt had a history of disastrous relationships.
In 2003, the actor married model Melissa McKnight in Hawaii, and the couple had Marina, now 18 years old.
Marina was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia, a rare brain disease when she was eight months old, and the pair went through the nightmare every parent goes through. Fortunately, with proper care, she recovered entirely.
However, the couple’s marriage did not work out due to Matt’s womanizing tendencies.
Matt later revealed that his three-year marriage had terminated partly due to an encounter with Canadian lapdancer Stephanie Stephens in 2005.
A strip club is “not the place for a family man,” Matt claimed, blaming the dancer.
She was right in his face, pressing her breasts against him, gripping his wrists, and seizing her entire body.
