But the surprises didn’t end there. Deep within the basement, the couple discovered a small, locked hatch that contained a box of old recipes and, astonishingly, the original blueprints of the house dating back to 1887. As they delved into the history of their new home, they discovered a darker past. The box also held strange jars of preserved foods and unsettling animal carcasses. Even their dog, Scout, seemed troubled by a hidden vent in the living room, which was absent from the updated blueprints.
Disturbed by these findings, the Fisers sought help from professionals to investigate further. The maintenance team, experienced in such matters, opened the mysterious vent and uncovered an alarming sight – jars filled with putrid liquids and various animal carcasses and bones.

It seemed that the previous occupant, an old lady, had likely engaged in these practices for healing purposes.
