Butter Buttermilk Biscuits: These biscuits are considerably easier to make from scratch than you might imagine. It only needs seven simple ingredients and a little elbow grease – and only a little!
Ingredients
2 cups regular flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, sliced into small pieces
A third of a cup of buttermilk

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius). Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Fill a well in the center of the mix with buttermilk. Just enough to bring the dough together.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it briefly. Make a 1-inch-thick rectangle out of the dough. Cut out as many biscuits as possible with a 2-inch biscuit cutter and lay them on a baking pan. Gather the pieces and pat them out again, cutting out more biscuits until the dough is gone.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown. Serve hot. Enjoy!
