Man Accused Of Killing 3 Has Tantrum When Cops Take Him Down

A video has emerged showing the dramatic arrest of 19-year-old Keith Moses in Orange County, Florida. Moses is accused of a horrific crime spree that left three people dead, including a nine-year-old girl. The footage captures the intense moment when police officers confronted Moses on a residential street, demanding he get on the ground.

In the video, Moses can be seen resisting arrest while screaming, “I can’t breathe!” as officers try to subdue him. Despite his cries and attempts to resist, the deputies managed to handcuff him and retrieve a firearm from his pants leg. One officer noted, “It’s still hot,” indicating the weapon had been recently fired.

Authorities believe Moses began his violent rampage in Orlando’s Pine Hills neighborhood, where he was traveling with his cousin and a 38-year-old acquaintance named Nathacha Augustin. Around 11 a.m., Moses allegedly shot and killed Augustin inside their vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Shockingly, Moses returned to the crime scene about four hours later, where he targeted Spectrum 13 journalists covering the initial shooting. Reporter Dylan Lyons, 24, and photographer Jesse Walden were in an unmarked car when they were ambushed. Lyons, who was soon to be married, was fatally shot while Walden survived the attack.

The violence didn’t stop there. Moses then entered a nearby home and fired at 9-year-old T’Yonna Major and her mother. Tragically, T’Yonna died from her injuries at a local hospital, while her mother remained in critical condition. T’Yonna was remembered as a vibrant child and a promising gymnast. Her grieving father, Tokiyo Major, shared an emotional tribute to his daughter, describing her as a bright light in their lives.

Orange County Sheriff John Mina stated that Moses did not provide any motive for the shootings and was uncooperative with law enforcement. Deputies initially took Moses to a hospital, suspecting he might be under the influence of drugs. There, he reportedly became disruptive, attacking hospital staff and needing to be restrained again. Even at the police station, he continued to act out, at one point pretending to fall asleep to avoid questioning.

Moses faced several serious charges, including second-degree murder for Augustin’s death, with more charges expected. Sheriff Mina highlighted Moses’ extensive criminal history, which included charges of gun possession, battery, assault, and grand theft.

During a press conference, State Attorney Monique Worrell addressed public concern over why Moses, with his criminal past, was not already behind bars. She explained that Moses had only one arrest as an adult — a 2021 marijuana possession charge that was later dropped.

The loaded gun found on Moses was a critical piece of evidence. The police officers had to make quick decisions to ensure their safety and the safety of others as they apprehended a suspect in a violent crime spree.

The arrest video sparked a flurry of reactions on social media:

“He forgot to shout Rodney King!” commented David Wohl, a criminal defense attorney.

“You can’t talk if you can’t breathe. Smh,” posted Jason on Twitter, receiving over 6,000 likes.

Another user wrote, “Omg, if you can scream, you’re clearly breathing. What a crisis actor.”

A paramedic added, “As a paramedic who has literally seen people who are struggling to breathe, they can’t scream ‘I can’t breathe’ because they can’t even form words…”

One frustrated commenter remarked, “This video pisses me off so much. ‘THEY’RE KILLING ME!’ Like any of the victims were even able to say that when they were actually dying. ‘I CAN’T BREATHE!’ Someone is only touching your arm. Nobody is on top of you or anything.”

Law enforcement officers frequently face life-threatening situations. Their primary hope each day is to return home safely after facing some of the most dangerous individuals in society.
