Their lives were forever changed by a wedding photo

We’ve all heard the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” and sometimes those words can be quite scary. Emma Cotillard discovered this firsthand when she looked back at her wedding photos and noticed something she had missed before.

After marrying the love of her life, Justin Cotillard, Emma was looking forward to a dreamy honeymoon. Little did she know that this trip would turn into a nightmare. One morning, Justin started yelling at Emma, telling her to leave the room. This took her by surprise, and her pregnancy hormones made her react strongly to his unexpected behavior. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there.

“He didn’t remember that I was seven months pregnant with our first baby. He thought I was a stranger,” Emma shared with the Daily Mail.

What made it even more alarming was the fact that Justin was only 29 years old. Concerned, the couple had to cut their honeymoon short and return to their home in England. Little did they know, a shocking revelation awaited them.

Justin had been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor, and the doctors informed them that he only had two more years to live.

On the same day that Emma gave birth to their daughter, Mia, Justin began his cancer treatment and was unable to welcome his baby girl into the world.

Despite undergoing treatment, Justin’s cancer rapidly spread. Emma still recalls the haunting words from his doctors.

“They gave me two weeks to bring my husband home before he passed away,” she recalls.

In May 2016, Justin tragically lost the battle against cancer, leaving behind a daughter who would have to grow up without her father.

Reflecting on the past, Emma noticed something peculiar in their wedding photos.

“When you look at the pictures now, you can see that the right side of his face is drooping,” Emma shares.

Emma has bravely chosen to share her story with the media in the hopes of encouraging others to seek medical attention at the first sign of any symptom. Early detection of a tumor can prolong or even save lives. Please help spread Emma’s message by sharing this article.
