The masterpiece, created by designer Harris Reed, required an astounding 11,000 hours of silk embroidery. Reed explained that the inspiration for the dress came from a stunning Cartier necklace worn by Moore. The designer repurposed vintage archival wallpaper, painstakingly transforming it into a blooming work of art. Reed wanted to be the “vines to her thorns” in reference to Moore’s beauty and elegance.
It was in 2019 that Moore last graced the Met Gala before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. At that event, she opted for an all-black gown with a plunging neckline. Recently, the star turned heads at Dolce and Gabbana’s 40th anniversary party when she arrived in a see-through black dress paired with simple black heels. Her flawless makeup, consisting of soft-pink lipstick and bold mascara, highlighted her timeless beauty.
