An Old Cowboy and Three Wishes

Once upon a time, a modern-day cowboy found himself lost in the desert without water and with his trusty horse already gone. Exhausted and desperate, the old cowboy crawled through the sand, unsure if he would survive. But just when he thought all hope was lost, he noticed something protruding from the sand in the distance.

Old Cowboy

Summoning his last bit of strength, the cowboy crawled towards the mysterious object and managed to pull it out. To his surprise, it was an old briefcase. As he opened it, a genie emerged, but this was not an ordinary genie. This genie was wearing an AUSTRALIAN TAXATION OFFICE badge and a plain grey dress. She carried a calculator and had a pencil tucked behind her ear.

“Hello, old cowboy,” said the genie with a smile. “You know the drill. You have three wishes.”

The old man was skeptical. “I’m not falling for this,” he replied. “I won’t trust an ATO auditor genie.”

The genie chuckled. “What do you have to lose?” she asked. “You’re stranded without transportation, and your fate seems sealed.”

Taking a moment to consider, the old cowboy realized that the genie had a point. “Alright,” he said. “I wish to be transported to a lush oasis with an abundance of food and drink.”

In an instant, a POOF filled the air, and the old cowboy found himself standing in the most magnificent oasis he had ever seen. The oasis was adorned with jugs of wine and platters of delicious delicacies.

The genie smirked. “Alright, old boy. What’s your second wish?”

Without hesitation, the cowboy replied, “I wish to be rich beyond my wildest dreams.”

Another POOF filled the air, and the old man was now surrounded by treasure chests overflowing with rare gold coins and precious gems.

The genie raised an eyebrow. “Alright, cowpuncher, you have just one more wish. Make it count!”

After pondering for a few moments, the cowboy finally spoke his final wish. “I wish to be desired and wanted by beautiful women, no matter where I go.”

With one final POOF, the old man’s wish was granted. However, to his surprise, he found himself transformed into a t@mpon.

And so, the moral of the story is clear: when the government offers you something, there’s always a catch.
