Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes, has been arrested once again for driving while intoxicated (DWI). This marks the third time that Mahomes Sr. has been arrested for this offense, according to TMZ.
The elder Mahomes was arrested on Saturday night in Texas and is currently in custody. However, he is expected to make bail later today.
In 2019, Mahomes Sr. was arrested for DWI for the second time or more. He was subsequently sentenced to 40 days in jail. This latest arrest raises questions about his ability to support his son during his upcoming fourth Super Bowl appearance, which is set to take place on February 11.
