Once upon a time, there was a couple – a husband and a wife, who loved to entertain themselves with a little mischief. One day, while the wife was spending some intimate moments with her lover in bed, they heard the sound of the husband’s key turning in the front door lock.
Panicked, the wife whispered to her lover, “Stay right where you are. My husband is so drunk that he won’t even notice you’re here with me.”
Moments later, the husband stumbled into the bedroom. The room was spinning, and his vision was blurry due to his intoxicated state. But through his drunken haze, he noticed something unusual – six feet protruding from the end of the bed instead of the usual four. Confused, he turned to his wife and exclaimed, “Hey, there are six feet in this bed! There should only be four. What’s going on?”
Quick on her feet, the wife replied with a sly grin, “Oh, darling, you’re so drunk that you must have miscounted. Why don’t you step out of bed and count again? Maybe you’ll see better from over there.”
The husband, still a bit groggy, reluctantly climbed out of bed and began counting. One, two, three, four… He paused for a moment, then chuckled and said, “You know what? You were right! There are only four feet here. I must have been seeing things.”
Amused by the mix-up, the husband climbed back into bed, none the wiser about the true nature of the situation. Little did he know, his wife and her lover shared a mischievous secret that they would always remember and laugh about.
