Brioche with yogurt Ingredients for one large brioche (or two tiny ones):

500 grams of flour
1 cube baking yeast
1 pot (125g) natural yogurt
ten cups of lukewarm milk
100 grams of sugar
100g of butter
1 egg

Preparation:

To soften the butter.
Warm the milk just enough to make it lukewarm.
Combine the yogurt, sugar, melted butter, and egg in a mixing dish.
Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm milk and add to the previously prepared mixture. Whisk everything together thoroughly.
Fill the bowl of a food processor halfway with flour, then form a well in the center and pour in the liquid mixture.
Mix on hook for 15 minutes. (if you don’t have a robot, you can knead the dough by hand).
When the dough is ready, cover the mixer bowl with a clean cloth.
Leave to rise for two hours near a radiator.
Then degas the dough and divide it into 8 pieces.
Place the dough pieces in a loaf pan or large cake pan. Allow for another hour of rising.
Brown the brioche with a little milk using a brush.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for 35 min. in an oven preheated to 180°C.
Allow to cool a little before consuming !

Advice:

The brioche is eaten plain, spread with a little butter (my pretty butter knife comes from Rakuten), jam or spread for those with a sweet tooth! If there is any left, we prepare brioche perdu!
