PIE WITH MONTEREY SAUSAGE

Monterey Sausage Pie – A cheesy blend of eggs, sausage, and other essential ingredients that’s perfect for breakfast or dinner!

Ingredients
1 pound pork sausage in bulk
3 tbsp. minced garlic
2-½ cups Monterey shredded Divided Jack Cheese
1 to 13 cup milk
3 complete eggs
34 cup Biscuit and Baking Mix
34 teaspoons Sage Rubbed
14 teaspoons pepper Monterey Sausage Pie Recipe
Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until the flesh is no longer pink. Cook for 1 minute more after adding the garlic. Drain. 2 cups cheese should be added at this point. Transfer to a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan that has been buttered.

Combine the milk, eggs, biscuit mix, sage, and pepper in a small mixing dish. Pour it over the sausage mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 400°F, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for another 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Allow for a 10-minute rest before cutting.
