Mexican 7 Layer Dip is a simple appetizer to prepare for a party. Layers of Tex-Mex flavors combine in this simple chilled dip to serve with tortilla chips.

1-16 oz. can refried beans
2 quarts sour cream
2 pitted and peeled avocados, mashed
1 taco seasoning packet
2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, freshly minced
12 cup black olives 4 diced green onions
2 diced Roma tomatoes
2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Making Authentic 7-Layer Mexican Dip
Fill a 9 or 10 inch transparent dish halfway with refried beans. Combine the Taco Seasoning and the sour cream.

Distribute this over the beans. Combine the mashed avocado, garlic, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.

Place the guacamole on top of the sour cream. Top with the Cheddar Cheese, black olives, and sliced tomato.

Toss with Tortilla Chips and serve.
