CASSEROLE, THE POOR MAN’S HUSBAND

This low-cost recipe gets its name from the fact that it only calls for a few simple ingredients that you most likely already have on hand. The dish is completely customizable to your preferences, and it is sure to please even the pickiest diners.

1 12 lb. seasoned ground beef
2 tomato sauce cans 15oz. Every 8 oz. The cream cheese
8 oz. The sour cream
8 oz. Noodles made from eggs
1 ½ C. Cheddar is a type of cheese.
2 tsp. garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. Seasoning from Italy
1 tsp. Sugar
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Poor Man Husband Casserole Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until it is thoroughly browned. Remove any excess grease.
Cook for 30 seconds further after adding the Italian spice and minced garlic to the skillet.
Pour the tomato sauce and sugar into the skillet with the meat, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and cream cheese.
Cook until the egg noodles are done to your satisfaction, then drain completely.
12 egg noodles should be placed in an equal layer in the bottom of a greased 913 baking dish.
Place half of the cream cheese mixture on top of the noodles, followed by half of the meat mixture.
On top, add another layer of noodles, cream cheese mixture, and ground meat.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted on top of the dish.
