These Caramel Pecan Dream Bars are truly dreamy, and I would have never known they existed if it hadn’t been for The Recipe Tin Project.
They take around five minutes to bake and rely primarily on kitchen shortcuts that are easy to store in your pantry, making them the type of treat that you can make on the spur of the moment.
It’s difficult not to fall in love with a dessert bar that’s sticky, sweet, and bursting with toffee flavor, so it’s easy to see why Emily took the time to document this one. And I’m grateful she did.
CRUSTING INGREDIENTS:
1 yellow cake mix box
a third of a cup soft margarine
1 egg
TO COMPLETE THE FILLING:
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
1 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup Brickle baking chips
Caramel Pecan Dream Bars Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a 913-inch baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Press the cake mix, margarine, and egg into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes with the filling components (sweetened condensed milk, pecans, chunks of brickle) on top.
Allow to cool before slicing. Enjoy!
