This dinner is ideal for entertaining guests since it is sophisticated enough to wow and simple enough that you won’t have to work too hard to prepare it. I always need more simple recipes. Also included are these Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Skillet.

5-pound New York strip steak
1 pound. Olive oil 1 tbsp. quartered or half-baby golden potatoes
2 tbsp Unsalted butter
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon Rosemary
3 minced garlic cloves
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add the potatoes, herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook the potatoes for 3-5 minutes, tossing frequently, until fork soft. Set aside the potatoes.
Melt the second tablespoon of butter in the same skillet and add the sliced steaks. Cook, stirring only a few times, until they are done to your liking.
Return the potatoes to the skillet to warm, seasoning to taste.
