STRAWBERRY POUND CAKE

Everyone knows that the finest part of any meal is the dessert, especially when it’s strawberry pound cake!

Many people have wonderful memories of picnics or BBQ groups that revolved around the opportunity to end the meal with a delectable strawberry dessert.

1 tablespoon softened butter
2 large eggs 1 12 C.1 teaspoon vanilla extract, granulated sugar
2C.All purpose flour 1tsp.Ground almonds ⅓C.Milk 1C.Quartered strawberries ¼C.Instructions for Using Water
In a mixing dish, cream the butter and sugar until frothy and creamy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Alternately, add the flour and milk until fully mixed.
Mix in the vanilla extract and powdered almonds.
Fold in the quartered strawberries and water until thoroughly combined.
Divide the batter evenly between two loaf pans that have been adequately oiled.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until well done.
Allow to cool before serving.
