SLICED BAKED POTATOES

These Sliced Baked Potatoes are cooked in the Hassleback method. This indicates that they still need to be baked. They are cut vertically from the top to the bottom. They are then roasted till golden brown. 

This is utter beauty on a plate. Potatoes are an excellent accompaniment to any beef entrée. A single potato can be prepared in numerous ways.

Ingredients: 4 medium potatoes (I used Russet).

14 teaspoon salt 18 teaspoon pepper

18 teaspoons cayenne pepper

18 teaspoon garlic

18 teaspoon paprika

4 to 6 tablespoons olive oil

How to Make Baked Sliced Potatoes:

VERY FIRST STEP:

The potatoes should be washed and dried.

Slice the potato only halfway down, side to side. (For a crispier potato, cut the slices at an angle.)

Step 2: Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Combine all of the seasonings.

Third step: Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes.

Evenly distribute the seasoning mixture over the potatoes.

Fourth step: Arrange the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

40 to 45 minutes in the oven
