Lasagna in the Slow Cooker

This crockpot lasagna recipe is so simple that you might worry you overlooked something. It’s a delectable slow cooker supper!

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef, lean

1 medium sliced onion

2 tablespoons garlic mince

1 can tomato sauce (29 oz.)

1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)

1/12 teaspoon salt

1 tsp. dried oregano

shredded mozzarella cheese (16 oz.)

12 oz. cottage cheese

12 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 package (12 oz.) lasagna noodles

Over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic in a large skillet. Stir in the tomato sauce, paste, salt, and oregano until well blended and heated.

Combine mozzarella, cottage cheese, and Parmesan in a large mixing bowl.

Layer the beef mixture in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add a second layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, breaking them as needed to fit into the oven. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles. Layer the sauce, noodles, and cheese until all ingredients are used.

Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, covered.
