We all make mistakes in life, and sometimes those mistakes can deeply affect those we care about. This seems to be the situation with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, who has recently come forward with a surprising revelation.
Dave Grohl has candidly admitted to being unfaithful to his wife and revealed that he fathered a child with someone else. He is now seeking forgiveness and shared this news on Instagram.
In his social media post, he confessed: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Dave married TV producer and model Jordyn Blum in 2003. Reflecting on their early days, he shared a story from 2007:
“When I first met my wife, we went out on a few dates, but I decided I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, so I just stopped calling.
“After three months, I had a change of heart and called her back. She answered and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.’”
The couple has three daughters together, and their eldest is currently touring with the Foo Fighters.
In July 2024, Grohl and Blum were seen together in the royal box seats at London’s Wimbledon tennis tournament. Here’s hoping they can work things out and continue their journey together in marriage.
