After notifying local authorities about his find, a car was retrieved from the water. Inside the vehicle, investigators discovered the skeletal remains of William Moldt, a man who had been missing from Lantana, Florida since November 1997.
On the evening of his disappearance, William had made a call to his girlfriend from a nightclub, assuring her he would be home soon. Tragically, he never arrived that night, leaving his loved ones in distress and without any answers for over two decades.
