Once upon a time, in a lively bar, an interesting man walked in with a mischievous smile on his face. He approached the bartender and made him a tempting offer. “Hey, would you be willing to give me a free beer if I show you something so astonishing that you’ve never seen before?” he asked.
The bartender, filled with curiosity, replied, “Well, if it’s as remarkable as you claim, then why not? Show me what you’ve got!”
With that, the man pulled a small creature out of his coat pocket—a hamster. He placed it on the bar, and to everyone’s surprise, the little hamster swiftly scurried around before gracefully leaping off the edge. In midair, it performed a perfect somersault before landing on top of the nearby piano.
To the amazement of everyone present, the hamster began to dance across the piano keys, producing a melodious tune that filled the bar. The bartender was truly astounded by this extraordinary performance. He exclaimed, “Wow! That was absolutely incredible! You’ve earned yourself a beer!”
With gratitude, the man accepted the beer and, after enjoying it, presented another challenge to the bartender. “If I show you something equally astonishing that you’ve never witnessed before, will you give me another free beer?” he asked with a playful grin.
Chuckling, the bartender replied, “If it’s as extraordinary as that talented hamster, then sure, why not?”
Without hesitation, the man reached into his other coat pocket and revealed a small frog. Placing it on the bar, the frog astonishingly began to sing a beautiful melody. Its voice resonated throughout the bar, leaving everyone in awe of its enchanting performance.
Once again, the bartender was left speechless. He happily rewarded the man with another beer for the captivating demonstration of the singing frog.
As the man savored his drink, a gentleman from the other end of the bar approached him. Impressed by the spectacle, he expressed his admiration, saying, “What an incredible performer! I’m willing to offer you $500 for that amazing frog.”
Unable to resist the tempting offer, the man gladly agreed, and the frog changed hands. Observing the transaction, the bartender couldn’t help but feel puzzled.
Shaking his head in disbelief, the bartender asked the man, “Forgive me for prying, but I can’t help but wonder why you would sell a live singing frog for a mere $500. Surely, with such a unique talent, you could have made millions!”
With a cheerful chuckle, the man replied, “Oh, don’t worry about it. You see, the hamster is also a talented ventriloquist!”
