A Mom with a Passion for Tattoos

Mom with over 800 tattoos called a free – reveals the truth about all her tattoos

Meet Melissa Sloan, a 46-year-old woman from Wales who is covered from head to toe in tattoos. Despite facing taunts and jeers from people who call her a “freak,” Melissa remains proud of her ink and continues to be a role model for her two children.

Melissa’s love for tattoos started when she was 20 years old, and she has been getting inked ever since. She admits that she has become addicted to tattoos, comparing it to the cravings one might have for cigarettes or alcohol. “I just can’t stop it,” she says.

Despite the challenges she faces, including difficulty in finding employment and being mocked by strangers, Melissa refuses to let the negativity bring her down. She carries her own tattoo gun with her wherever she goes and has her boyfriend give her three new tattoos every week. With over 800 tattoos, her body and face are now covered in ink.

Melissa candidly shares the struggles she faces due to her appearance. She has been denied job opportunities and faced discrimination from local bars and school events. However, she remains strong for her children. Her two young kids, aged eight and ten, actually admire their mother’s tattoos and have even started experimenting with temporary ones.

Despite the hardships she faces and the judgments she encounters, Melissa hopes that her children will learn from her experiences and not feel like outcasts themselves. She wants them to embrace their individuality and express themselves freely.

While Melissa’s appearance might be unconventional, it’s important not to judge others based on their choices. Tasteful body art can be a beautiful form of self-expression. However, it’s understandable why employers might hesitate to hire someone with such an extreme appearance. Nevertheless, Melissa’s story is a reminder that we shouldn’t let physical appearances define us or determine our worth.
