Monterey Sausage Pie: A cheesy blend of eggs, sausage, and other essential ingredients for breakfast or dinner!
Ingredients
1 pound pork sausage in bulk
3 tbsp. minced garlic
2-½ cups Monterey shredded Divided Jack Cheese
1 to 13 cup milk
Three complete eggs
34 cup Biscuit and Baking Mix
34 teaspoons Sage Rubbed
14 teaspoons pepper Monterey Sausage Pie Recipe
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until the flesh is no longer pink. After adding the garlic, cook for 1 minute more. Drain. At this point, 2 cups of cheese should be added.
In a small mixing dish, combine the biscuit mix, milk, eggs, sage, and pepper. Pour it on top of the sausage mixture.
At 400°F, bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the middle comes out clean. Bake for a further 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese melts. Before cutting, take a 10-minute rest.
