Alf Child Star Benji Gregory Has Died At 46

Benji Gregory has passed away at the age of 46. His sister confirmed the unfortunate news in an interview, revealing he was found on June 13 in a bank parking lot in Arizona. Both Benji and his service dog were discovered deceased in the car.

This tragic event has deeply affected his family. They chose to keep the news private for a while to allow themselves time to mourn. However, they now want to share what happened with those who remember and loved Benji.

Reports indicate that Benji died from a heat stroke after he fell asleep in his car. It’s a heartbreaking loss for those who knew him personally and those who cherished his work on screen.

Benji’s legacy includes his memorable role as a child star on Alf, but he was also known for his performances in several other shows and movies such as Punky Brewster, Amazing Stories, Once Upon a Forest, and Manhattan.

His sister shared that Benji had struggled with depression and bipolar disorder, for which he was receiving treatment. He had reconnected with his on-screen father from Alf after they met again at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in 2019.
