John Passidomo, a successful lawyer and the beloved husband of Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, tragically lost his life in a hiking accident in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. It was a beautiful day on which tragedy struck, taking away a man who had left a lasting impact on those around him.
John, known for his great health, was out for a walk with Kathleen, enjoying the picturesque scenery of the park when he fell and suffered a severe head injury, along with other serious injuries. Despite prompt medical attention, doctors determined that his injuries were too severe, and he would not survive past 24 hours.
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Kathleen and their three daughters rushed to the hospital to be by John’s side during his final moments. It was a difficult farewell for Kathleen, who had lost the love of her life and was left utterly devastated by this unexpected accident.
John and Kathleen Passidomo had been married for almost 45 years, a milestone they were eagerly looking forward to celebrating in September. Their love story began at Stetson University College of Law in Florida, where they met and later tied the knot. Throughout their journey, they embarked on numerous great adventures, with this trip to Bryce Canyon being just one of many cherished memories they created together.
Their last days together were filled with special moments, awe-inspiring scenery, and reflections on their lifetime spent side by side. They had plans to enjoy their golden years, watching their grandchildren grow up and relishing in the joys of retirement. It is a testament to their deep love and commitment that their time together was filled with so much beauty and happiness.
The news of John Passidomo’s passing reached many, including Governor Ron DeSantis, who expressed his condolences to the Passidomo family. In a heartfelt message, he described John as a good man and offered prayers for the family as they come to terms with their loss. The void left by John’s absence will be felt by his wife, Janet Passidomo, their three daughters (Catarina, Francesca, and Gabriella), and their two grandsons.
