Janet Jackson is ready to be “together again” with all of her fans.
On Wednesday, Aug. 21, the pop superstar, 58, announced that she’d be heading to Las Vegas for a residency at Resorts World Theatre.
“We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week! This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can’t wait! Sending so much love ♥️ -J,” Jackson wrote on Instagram.
A press release said the shows will offer fans “world-class attitude, starpower, and the experience of a lifetime for fans from around the world.”
“Janet Jackson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pop music,” said Bobby Reynolds, Senior Vice President, AEG Presents Las Vegas in a press release statement. “We could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows. This is a residency fans won’t want to miss.”

Jackson is all set to kick off her residency with back-to-back performances on Dec. 30 and on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 with subsequent performances in 2025 on Jan. 3, 4 and Feb. 5, 7, 8, 12, 14 and 15.
Tickets to all 10 performances will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. PT on AXS.com.

News of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s residency comes two months after she wrapped the U.S. leg of her 2024 Together Again Tour, which began on June 4.
The tour was announced in January as an extension to her 2023 tour of the same name and is set to conclude in Amsterdam on Oct. 10.
“The Together Again Tour will offer everyone the chance to reunite with Ms. Jackson in celebration of her 50th anniversary in entertainment and spotlight the milestones for three of Jackson’s most critically acclaimed albums – 25 years of ‘The Velvet Rope’, 30 years of ‘Janet’, and 35 years of ‘Rhythm Nation’ – featuring her biggest chart-topping hits,” a press release statement said of the tour.
