Explaining her motivations, Streisand mentioned the constant influx of news and falsehoods, which made her feel ill. She felt compelled to channel her outrage through her music, believing strongly that the country should not tolerate lies and deceit.

In her memoir, “My Name is barbra,” Streisand discusses the dynamic between politicians and artists. She believes firmly that artists function as a conscience for the nation, challenging society to face uncomfortable realities.
“That’s why art is the enemy of tyrants and dictators,” Streisand boldly declares.

After four challenging years, Streisand finds hope in President Joe Biden. She appreciates his compassion, honesty, and integrity, believing that the country is on the right path. However, she remains vigilant about the upcoming elections and the possibility of Trump’s return to power.
Streisand has made it clear that she is determined not to live in a nation governed by someone she regards as “so stupid” and “so ill-informed.”
A New America: Restoring the Nobility of Truth
Streisand envisions an America free from pollution, obscenities, insults, and revenge. She calls for a return to the nobility of truth, believing it is the cornerstone for making America truly great once more.
