However, many people are unhappy with their looks, largely due to the unrealistic standards set by the fashion industry and media. This often makes individuals feel pressured to cover up or change their so-called imperfections using makeup, injections, or even surgery.
While some people opt for minor tweaks here and there, others take a more drastic approach to cosmetic procedures.
Meet Andrea Ivanova, a 24-year-old who is fixated on the size of her lips.
Using hyaluronic acid lip injections, Andrea has dramatically increased the size of her lips. Her ultimate goal is to have the biggest lips in the world.
As per her latest statements, she might soon achieve that goal.
Andrea, who is from Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital and largest city, continues to pursue her costly and risky dream.
According to Unilad, she has now undergone 27 procedures and has quadrupled the size of her lips.
“I like them a lot and feel much better,” Andrea told Jam Press.
Spent about $5,000
Andrea’s lifestyle doesn’t come cheap.
Each injection costs approximately $150 in Bulgaria, resulting in a total expenditure of around $5,000 on her lip enhancements, according to Malay Mail.
This young woman, who studied German philology at a university in Sofia, is not yet satisfied.
Despite doctors advising against more injections, Andrea still wishes to go bigger.
The reason is simple: she aspires to have the world’s biggest lips.
Although she doesn’t hold the official world record, Andrea believes her lips are already the biggest.
“I get messages from men all over the world offering me money, trips, and invitations to meet them,” she says.
According to Andrea, many of her followers who are knowledgeable in these matters agree that no one has lips bigger than hers.
Trouble eating after the procedures
Andrea describes her lips as “lovely” and is confident that more enhancements are on the horizon.
“Some doctors think I’ve had enough, but mine said he will do more injections if I wait at least two months,” she says.
Of course, having such large lips comes with its own set of challenges.
“I love my new lips a lot. It was hard to eat right after the injection, and it gets even harder two to three days later. However, there are no restrictions on what I can eat,” Andrea explained.
Pays no attention to lips haters
Her bold look might attract attention, but ultimately it’s Andrea’s body and her choice. Despite receiving a substantial amount of online hate, she tries not to let it bother her.
“I think everyone should look however they want.”
