Meet Mark, the Fashion Forward Engineer

Mark Bryan, a 61-year-old engineer from Germany, is redefining gender stereotypes with his unique sense of style. While high heels were originally designed for men in the 10th century, they have since become predominantly associated with women. But Mark is part of a growing movement of modern men who are reclaiming this popular type of shoe.

Mark Bryan

Mark Bryan is not your average engineer. When you first see him, you might not expect him to have a huge following on social media. However, this German native has created quite a stir on the internet with his bold outfits and captivating images. His Instagram account has gained nearly 660,000 followers.

His wardrobe includes pumps, boots, and skirts, and he proudly shares his fashion choices with the world, emphasizing how normal they are for him. Mark believes that clothing should have no gender restrictions. He prefers skirts over dresses because they give him the freedom to wear more traditionally “masculine” tops.

While some may question his fashion choices, Mark’s children fully support him. He raised them with the understanding that clothing does not define one’s sexuality or gender identity. In fact, his daughter eagerly awaits the day when she can borrow some of her father’s fashion-forward items. Even Mark’s wife joins in and helps him pick out outfits.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as accepting. Mark has faced online and in-person criticism and has had to remind others that they wouldn’t raise an eyebrow if he were wearing more traditional pants.

So, the question remains: Could you walk in Mark’s shoes? Let us know your thoughts!
