Movies like Saturday Night Fever (1977) made John Travolta a famous star all over the world. He became even more well-known after starring in the movie Grease. Born in 1954 in New Jersey, New York, John knew from a young age that he wanted to be an actor. Despite the risk, he chose to leave high school and pursue his passion for acting. It turned out to be the best decision he ever made.
Throughout the years, John has appeared in numerous movies, including Two of a Kind (1983), Pulp Fiction (1994), and Get Shorty (1995), for which he won a Golden Globe. He has also had roles in Broken Arrow (1996), Wild Hogs (2007), Gotti (2018), and more.
In 1991, John married actress Kelly Preston, despite her being married at the time they met. In 2018, Kelly revealed that she wasn’t happy in her previous marriage and that she wasn’t with the right person. Tragically, Kelly passed away from breast cancer in July 2020, after almost 30 years of marriage to John. The couple had three children together: Jett, Ella Bleu, and Benjamin. Jett, who had autism, tragically passed away in 2009 from seizures.
Like her parents, Ella Bleu is also pursuing a career in acting. She has always been interested in the field and considers herself lucky to have parents who have given her valuable advice. After Kelly’s death, Ella wrote a heartfelt tribute to her mother, describing her as the best person she’s ever known and expressing gratitude for everything she has done.
Ella considers her dad, John, to be the most important person in her life, and they share a close bond. John is extremely proud of his daughter and often expresses it on social media. In a touching gesture to honor Kelly’s memory, John shared a video of himself dancing with Ella, as dancing was one of Kelly’s favorite things to do.
