Three Bulls on a Ranch

Once upon a time, there were three bulls living on a ranch. They had heard that a new bull was going to be introduced, and each of them had their own opinion on how to handle the newcomer.

The first bull, who had been on the ranch for five years, proudly declared, “I’ve worked hard to build my herd of 100 cows. I’m not giving any of them to the new bull.”

The second bull, who had been there for three years, chimed in, “I’ve earned my right to 50 cows. I’ve put in my time, and I’m not giving them up.”

The third bull, who had only been on the ranch for a year and had been given just 10 cows, said, “I may not be as big as you guys, but I’m keeping all 10 of my cows.”

As they were discussing, an enormous 18-wheeler arrived at the ranch. It was carrying the biggest bull they had ever seen. This massive bull weighed an impressive 4,700 pounds, and his every step made the steel ramp strain.

The sight of the new bull left the first bull feeling generous. He offered, “I think I can spare a few cows for our new friend.”

The second bull, having an abundance of cows, agreed, “I have too many cows to handle anyway. I can definitely spare a few without any trouble.”

However, when they turned to the third bull, they found him pawing the dirt, shaking his horns, and snorting. Concerned, the first bull advised, “Son, don’t be foolish. Let him have some of your cows, and everything will be fine.”

But the fearless third bull responded, “Hell, he can have all my cows. I just want to make sure he knows that I’m a bull too.”

In another part of the ranch, there lived a stork family – a mommy stork, a daddy stork, and their baby stork. One day, daddy stork didn’t come home for dinner, which worried mommy and baby stork.

When the dad finally returned the next morning, they anxiously inquired about his whereabouts. He nonchalantly replied, “I was making a young couple very happy.”

About a week later, it was mommy stork’s turn not to come home for dinner. Daddy and the baby stork were filled with concern. When mom stork arrived the next morning, they asked her where she had been. She casually replied, “I was making a young couple very happy.”

The stork family may have their own unique way of making couples happy, but they always come back together in the end.

In life, we encounter new challenges and situations. It’s important to remember that we can show generosity and embrace others, just like the first and second bull did. And sometimes, we may need to prove our strength and establish our identity, like the third bull.

Similarly, the stork family teaches us that everyone has their own role and responsibilities. They may have different ways of contributing to happiness, but what matters is that they support and care for each other.

So let’s embrace our uniqueness, support one another, and find our own ways of making the world a happier place.
