Once upon a time, there was a woman who stumbled upon Aladdin’s magical lamp. Naturally, she began to rub it, and to her surprise, a Genie appeared before her. Filled with excitement, the woman shared her heartfelt desires with the Genie:
“I wish for my husband to have eyes only for me, to be the one and only in his life. I long for him to sleep by my side every night and wake up with me as the first thing he sees. I want him to cherish me and take me everywhere he goes.”
But, instead of granting her wishes as she imagined, the mischievous Genie turned her into a Smart Phone. How unexpected!
Little Johnny was sitting in class, listening attentively as the teacher began discussing agricultural topics, such as farms and weather forecasting. The teacher decided to engage the class and asked a question about how farmers predict the weather on their farms.
Little Johnny’s hand shot up in excitement, eager to share his knowledge. The teacher, curious, called on him to provide an answer.
With confidence, Little Johnny exclaimed, “The farmer uses a weather vane, ma’am!”
Impressed by his correct response, the teacher continued, “That’s right, Johnny. Now, can anyone tell me what kind of animal is typically depicted on a weather vane?”
The other students seemed puzzled, but Little Johnny couldn’t contain his knowledge. He eagerly raised his hand again and was given the opportunity to answer.
With a mischievous grin, Little Johnny confidently said, “Teacher, it’s a rooster!” The class erupted into giggles.
Slightly taken aback, the teacher hesitated before asking the next question, “Does anyone know why farmers use a rooster as the weather vane symbol?”
The rest of the class appeared clueless once again, but Little Johnny, unable to resist a chance to make everyone laugh, raised his hand triumphantly.
With a big smile on his face, Little Johnny declared, “Well, teacher, it’s because if it were a different word, the wind would simply blow right through it!”
