The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful Palm Springs ceremony on January 4, which was broadcasted live on ABC. However, the marriage did not stand the test of time, raising speculation about whether the couple had a prenuptial agreement and what would happen to Theresa’s engagement ring.

During the interview, Theresa sadly admitted that she would have to give back her Neil Lane diamond ring. It seems that giving back the ring is the rule, but Turner chimed in, reminding everyone that they don’t have to give back the memories they shared together.

ABC anchor Juju Chang confirmed that the couple did indeed sign a prenuptial agreement. She advised others to consider taking the same step when entering into a marriage.

Their engagement in November 2023 had garnered attention, especially because of Turner’s grand gesture with a custom-made princess cut ring. The ring, adorned with two baguette cut diamonds and 128 small round stones totaling 3.15 carats, held significant symbolism for the couple.

Turner spoke about the ring in an interview with People in December, expressing the importance of its symbolism. Renowned jewelry designer Neil Lane, who crafted the ring, described how special it was to create something for two people getting a second chance at love.

In their emotional interview on Good Morning America, Turner revealed that he and Nist had numerous heartfelt conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. They ultimately decided that living apart would bring them the most happiness. Despite the separation, Turner expressed that he still loves Nist and has no doubt about his feelings.

During the interview, the couple held hands and acknowledged that they are both still searching for love, albeit not with each other.
