As the officials approached, one of the individuals hastily tried to flee by getting into the driver’s seat and speeding away. However, the attempt ended in a crash just a couple of blocks away in a nearby yard. The driver, identified as a 17-year-old male student, exited the vehicle without clothes and attempted to escape on foot. He was apprehended an hour later while trying to put on undergarments.
In the backseat of the vehicle, still putting her clothes on, was Erin Ward. The authorities made a startling discovery when they searched the car – an employee ID for Omaha Public Schools. It was then revealed that Ward had been working as a substitute teacher at various schools, including Omaha Burke High School.
Ward is a mother of three children and is married to Dough Ward, a highly accomplished federal government employee. The couple’s connections and background only add to the shock surrounding this incident. Erin Ward admitted to having engaged in sexual intercourse with the 17-year-old student, who was her student at Burke High School.
Both the teacher and the student sustained minor injuries from the crash and received treatment. The investigation into this matter is still ongoing, as authorities delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
