Prince William and Kate Middleton Extend Olive Branch to Harry and Meghan

Amidst all the tension and turmoil within the British Royal Family, Prince William and Kate Middleton are making an effort to reconcile with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Daily Mirror reports that the Prince and Princess of Wales are willing to put an end to the ongoing feud that has strained the once unbreakable bond between William and Harry.

Relations between Harry, Meghan, and the rest of the royals have been strained ever since their decision to leave the Royal Family and move to the USA. This sorry saga has been marked by their public criticisms and accusations, starting with their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. It’s no surprise that this has severely damaged the integrity and reputation of the Royal Family.

However, royal author and expert Tom Quinn claims that William and Kate are determined to mend the relationship. They have reportedly reached out to Harry and Meghan, urging them to bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK for a visit. Unfortunately, Meghan has firmly refused this suggestion, saying that there is no way she would bring the children to the UK.

The last time Archie and Lilibet visited their father’s homeland was for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. It is evident that the children have spent limited time with their family across the Atlantic. The Sussexes were originally planning to travel to the UK as a family in September 2022, but the trip was canceled due to safety concerns after Harry and Meghan were denied security by RAVEC (the Royal and VIP Executive Committee).

Harry briefly visited the UK earlier this year after King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, but he did not have a reunion with his brother William. Recent reports suggest that William will not make an effort to meet with his younger sibling when Harry flies in for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May. With both Charles and Kate fighting their own battles against cancer, the “Harry problem” is currently not a priority for William.
