After experiencing heartbreak from his divorce with longtime wife Christine Baumgartner, it seems that Kevin Costner has found love once more. Rumors are circulating that the Yellowstone actor is dating singer Jewel. The couple was recently photographed together at a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island.
This comes after the turmoil caused by Costner’s legal battle with Baumgartner following their divorce. Costner was taken by surprise when Baumgartner filed for divorce in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They had been married for 18 years.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” stated a spokesperson for Costner. “We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Costner and Baumgartner share three children together – 15-year-old Cayden, 14-year-old Hayes, and 12-year-old Grace. Amidst the divorce, they had a bitter dispute, with Baumgartner being forced to leave the family home as per their prenuptial agreement, and Costner being obligated to pay $63,209 per month in child support.
Despite the hardships, it seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel for Costner. He is now reportedly in a relationship with American singer Jewel. The couple traveled together to the Caribbean and one insider mentioned, “There was definitely something going on. They were flirtatious and when they were together, they both seemed to light up.”
Jewel also made a social media post about the tennis fundraiser on Necker Island, where she referred to Costner. She stated, “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son! This year, @kevincostnermodernwest was gracious enough to mentor our youngsters.”
According to sources, Costner and Jewel returned together from the trip. Jewel is known to be “picky” and she wants a good man – and Kevin fits the bill, according to an insider.
