Robert De Niro, the renowned actor from movies like “Goodfellas,” recently shared a heartwarming photo of himself with his 10-month-old daughter, Gia. The actor also chuckled about the unique dynamic in his family, as he became a father for the seventh time at the age of 79. “She amuses the youngsters to no end. The grandchildren even. In addition to Gia, whom De Niro welcomed with his partner Tiffany Chen in 2023, he is also a proud father to his other children: Drena, Raphael, Julian, Aaron, Elliot, and Helen. He also has four grandchildren, including Drena’s son, Leandro, who sadly passed away last year.

When asked about his age and being a father again, De Niro opened up about his role in the family. He admitted that he has taken a step back from some responsibilities and lets his partner, Tiffany, do the heavy lifting. “I’m there to support my girlfriend. But she does the work,” he explained. De Niro and Chen first met in 2021 during the filming of his movie “The Intern.” Their romantic relationship blossomed a couple of years later in July 2023. Reflecting on their connection, Chen recounted, “When we were working, it was just work. And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, ‘Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.’”
As De Niro continues to enjoy the joys of fatherhood with his partner and their adorable daughter, it’s evident that family is everything to him. He was previously married to Diahnne Abbott from 1976 to 1988 and Grace Hightower from 1997 to 2018.
