Bill and Marla had a funny plan to occupy their 10-year-old son while they had a quickie on a Sunday afternoon. They sent him out to the balcony and told him to report on all the neighborhood activities. Little did they know how smart their son was going to be!
As his parents put their plan into action, the boy began his commentary. “There’s a car being towed from the parking lot,” he said. “An ambulance just drove by.”
A few moments passed, and the boy continued his observations. “Looks like the Andersons have company,” he called out. “Matt’s riding a new bike, and the Coopers are…having some private time.”
Bill and Marla were startled and jumped up in bed. “How do you know that?” the surprised father asked.
The little boy had an innocent response. “Their kid is standing out on the balcony too,” he replied.
