She shared her morning routine, which involves waking up at 3 a.m. to start her day. When RuPaul jokingly asked if Parton wears high heels while making breakfast for herself and her husband, Parton playfully responded, “I always wear my high heels. Don’t you?”
RuPaul explained that he takes off his drag attire, but Parton had a different perspective. She believes in always being “street ready” and never wants to be caught looking anything less than fabulous, even during emergencies. Parton humorously remarked, “If there’s going to be an earthquake, I’m not running out in the street looking like you look now.”
While some may interpret Parton’s comments as shade, it’s clear that she is comfortable and confident in her highly glamorous image. She explained that being always ready is not about self-consciousness, but rather about being prepared for any situation. Parton emphasized that she enjoys wearing high heels and feeling like herself in her stylish attire. She chooses her outfits for herself, rather than to please others.
