Ava Sue’s Brave Battle Against Injury

Ava Sue, the adorable daughter of Alfonso Ribeiro and Angela Ribeiro, recently underwent emergency surgery after a terrifying incident on the day before her fourth birthday. The young girl had fallen off her sit-down scooter, resulting in severe burns on her right elbow, shoulder, and area around her right eye.

Alfonso expressed his gratitude towards the medical staff at Kare MD Skin Health, who provided the necessary care and performed the procedure to minimize scarring. In an Instagram post, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor shared photos of Ava’s wounds and commended her incredible bravery during the surgery. He remarked, “Not the kind of day you want the day before turning 4, but so proud of how brave my baby girl was.”

Angela, Ava’s mother, also opened up about the accident and her concerns leading up to it. She had a bad feeling that morning and made it clear to everyone that they should avoid any dangerous activities. However, despite her warning, Ava unfortunately fell from her scooter not long after. Angela referred to it as a motherly intuition, emphasizing the importance of trusting those instincts.

After the accident, Ava was promptly taken to Dr. Raffy at Kare MD Skin Health, where they worked diligently to minimize the potential for scarring. Angela admired her daughter’s resilience, saying, “Not a fun way to spend your last day as a 3-year old, but she was a trooper.” She showered Ava with love and cuddles while wishing her a speedy recovery.

The team at Kare MD Skin Health also sent their well wishes to Ava on her birthday, highlighting their honor in taking care of the little princess. Alfonso expressed his gratitude for their exceptional service and support during this challenging time.

As parents, we all understand the fear and anxiety that come when our children are injured. Our hearts go out to Alfonso and Angela as Ava continues her healing journey. If you can relate to their experience or simply want to show your support, feel free to share this post on Facebook.
