Little Boy’s Mischievous Game

A Surprising Encounter

Once upon a time, in a house not too far away, a woman found excitement in the form of a secret lover. Unbeknownst to her, her 9-year-old son overheard their rendezvous and hid himself away in the closet.

One fateful day, as the lover and the woman found themselves in the closet, the little boy could not contain his curiosity any longer. “It’s dark in here,” he whispered.

The lover, taken aback, replied, “Yes, it is.”

An Unexpected Proposition

Feeling mischievous, the boy decided to make a proposition. “I have a baseball. Want to buy it?” he asked with a sly grin.

Surprised, the lover politely declined, saying, “No, thanks.”

Unfazed, the boy persisted, using his cunning tactic. “My dad’s outside,” he added, spicing up the offer.

Intrigued, the lover asked, “Okay, how much?”

The boy, without hesitation, proposed an outrageous sum of $250. What a clever little negotiator he was!

The Game Continues

As fate would have it, a few weeks later, the same scene played out once more. The boy and the lover found themselves trapped in the darkness of the closet again.

“It’s dark in here,” the boy whispered, breaking the silence.

Acknowledging the situation, the lover concurred, “Yes, it is.”

Seizing another opportunity, the boy unveiled a new proposition. “I have a baseball glove. Want to buy it?”

With a polite decline, the lover refused, saying, “No, thanks.”

But the mischievous boy knew he had the upper hand. “I’ll tell,” he warned.

Intrigued yet cautious, the lover inquired, “How much?”

And once again, the boy played his game, quoting an exorbitant price of $750. What a clever entrepreneur in the making!

The Unexpected Turn

A few days later, the father, unaware of his son’s little schemes, approached him. “Grab your glove. Let’s go outside and toss the baseball!” he cheerfully suggested.

But to his surprise, the boy replied, “I can’t. I sold them.”

Confused, the father probed further, asking, “How much did you sell them for?”

With a touch of pride, the boy announced, “$1,000.”

Shocked and disappointed, the father scolded his son. “That’s terrible! Overcharging your friends like that is not right,” he exclaimed. “I’m going to take you to church and make you confess.”

A Confession with a Twist

On that Sunday morning, father and son entered the church. The father approached the priest, revealing his son’s wrongdoing. Determined to teach his child a valuable lesson, he instructed the boy to sit inside the confession booth.

Once inside, the boy couldn’t resist a playful remark. “It’s dark in here,” he innocently stated.

To his surprise, the priest replied, catching on to the little boy’s game, “Don’t start that sh*t again.”

And so, even in the solemnity of the church, humor found its way into an unexpected confession.
