The doctors informed Harry that he could only stay with her for a few minutes. He tried to convince her to change her mind about the divorce, but she remained determined to leave. After being discharged from the hospital, Sara left their home, leaving Harry to care for their children alone.
As days turned into weeks, Harry struggled to balance his job with his new responsibilities. He found it difficult to meet deadlines and was often late. His boss, who was also a friend, expressed concern about his performance and warned him that he might lose his job.
Feeling desperate, Harry received a call from Sara, who disclosed her desire for full custody of their children. They argued about who was responsible for the children’s abandonment and their parental rights. Ultimately, the judge granted Sara full custody, devastating Harry as he had been the sole caregiver during Sara’s absence.
While Harry was granted visitation rights, he was also ordered to pay child support. When the day came for Sara to take the children with her, both boys resisted, expressing their wish to have both their mommy and daddy in their lives. Their plea touched Sara’s heart, and she realized how important it was for the children to have the love and support of both parents.
