Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, the 20-year-old son of music legend Jon Bon Jovi, are ready to share some exciting news with the world. The couple took to Instagram to hint at an apparent engagement in the works. It didn’t take fans long to make the connection and social media has been blowing up as a result – that’s right, it’s finally happening!
Brown posted a black-and-white photo of the two embracing one another on the beach – Bongiovi had his arms wrapped around Brown, while Brown gripped her two hands onto one of his arms. If you look closely, you’ll notice what appears to be an engagement ring on Brown’s ring finger – a tell-tale sign!
Brown’s caption pretty much confirmed what everyone was thinking. She shared a brief, yet telling lyric from the song ‘Lover’ by
Taylor Swift – “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all ????” she wrote in the caption. While neither side has directly confirmed the engagement, it seems pretty obvious. Jake Bongiovi shared his own hint at the engagement, posting a photo of the couple on what appears to be the same beach. While neither of the two photos he shared showed an angle of the engagement ring, he did write, “Forever ????” in the caption. If you’re not convinced yet, then I don’t know what to tell you.
Dating rumors between the two sprouted in June 2021 when they shared a photo in a car together. They shared several other photos together throughout the rest of the year, including a photo atop the London Eye in November 2021 and a photo in front of a Christmas tree in December 2021. By then, it was clear.
In February 2022, the couple dressed as Barbie and Ken for Brown’s 18th birthday party and made their red carpet debut a month later at the EE British Academy Film Awards. In May, they celebrated Bongiovi’s 20th birthday and appeared together on the red carpet during the premiere of Season 4
Stranger Things.
On New Year’s Eve 2022, Brown posted a photo reel and photo dump of the couple and called Bongiovi her ‘partner for life’ in the caption. “Endlessly in love with the year I’ve had! grateful for my friends, family, donkey (Bernard), my doggies, my puppies teeth, and my partner for life,” she wrote in the caption.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Have Big Plans Coming Up
Their engagement isn’t the only excitement in the couples’ lives. While Millie Bobby Brown has several projects releasing soon as she adds to her already-impressive acting career, Jake Bongiovi is set to make his acting debut with two projects of his own getting ready to be released. They’re growing up so fast!
Brown’s first project is an upcoming fantasy film titled
*Damsel, *which is set for an October 13 release on Netflix – she was cast as Princess Elodie and is joined by Angela Bassett, Nick Robinson, Robin Wright, and more. She’s also starring in *The Electric State, *with Chris Pratt – for release in 2024.
As for Bongiovi, he has been cast in two films –
*Sweethearts *and *Rockbottom. *While there’s no release date set for either one of them, *Sweethearts *is currently in post-production and *Rockbottom *is currently in production – so it shouldn’t be long before we see the soon-to-be 21-year-old make his acting debut! **YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: **Millie Bobby Brown Shuns Social Media For Sexualizing Her After Turning 18
