Once upon a time, there was a blonde who bought two horses. The problem was, she couldn’t tell them apart. So, she decided to seek advice from her neighbor, a farmer.
The farmer suggested a simple solution – to cut off the tail of one of the horses. Thinking it was a brilliant idea, the blonde followed the farmer’s advice and cut off a horse’s tail. However, fate had a funny way of playing tricks. The other horse’s tail got caught in a bush and ripped off as well. Now, the blonde was back to square one – not being able to tell the horses apart.
Confused and desperate, the blonde approached the farmer again for help. This time, the farmer suggested that she should cut off one of the horse’s ears. Thinking it was worth a try, the blonde proceeded to cut off one horse’s ear. But, just like before, the other horse somehow managed to get its ear caught in a barbed wire fence and lost an ear too. The blonde was still in a state of confusion.
Feeling a bit frustrated, the blonde turned to the farmer for the third time. This time, the farmer had a different suggestion – to measure the two horses. The blonde took his advice and diligently measured the horses. After careful examination, she returned to the farmer with an excited expression on her face.
“The white horse is 2 inches taller than the black horse!” she proclaimed proudly.
Sometimes, even the simplest solutions can help us solve complex problems.
A Blonde and the Travel Agency
One day, a blonde was walking down the street and noticed a sign in a travel agency’s window. The sign advertised a “Cruise Special – $99!” Intrigued by the offer, she couldn’t resist the temptation to embark on a budget-friendly adventure.
Without hesitation, the blonde walked into the travel agency, placed her money on the counter, and requested the $99 cruise special. The travel agent swiftly grabbed her and led her to a back room, where he proceeded to tie her to a large inner tube. Confused, the blonde watched as the agent dragged her out the back door and down a hill towards the river. With a gentle push, she was set adrift on the water.
A few minutes later, another blonde walked by the same travel agency and spotted the enticing sign. Eager for an adventure, she entered the agency, placed her money on the counter, and asked for the $99 special. Like the first blonde, she too was tied to an inner tube and sent floating down the river.
As fate would have it, the second blonde caught up to the first blonde in the river’s stronger current. They floated side by side for a while before the first blonde broke the silence.
“Do they serve refreshments on this cruise?” she asked curiously.
The second blonde replied with a hint of humor, “They didn’t last year!”
