Sobering Loss for ‘Pawn Stars’ Family

'Pawn Stars' Rick Harrison grieving sudden death of son Adam, 39

The ‘Pawn Stars’ community is mourning the untimely passing of Adam Harrison, the beloved son of show creator Rick Harrison. The shocking news broke on Friday, January 19, revealing that Adam, 39, tragically lost his life to an overdose.

While details surrounding the circumstances remain unknown, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department has initiated an investigation.

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second child from his previous marriage to Kim, and the younger brother of Corey Harrison. Although he did not appear on the popular show, it is known that Adam worked at the family’s business, Gold & Silver Pawn, before the series premiered in 2009. However, his involvement at the pawn shop had decreased in recent years.

The Harrison family released a statement through their representative, Laura Herlovich, expressing their deep sadness: “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”

Both Rick and Corey took to social media to share their grief. Rick posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of himself and Adam, smiling together at a bar. He wrote, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔” Similarly, Corey shared a heartbreaking image of him holding a photograph of himself and Adam as children, playing together in a bathtub. His caption read: “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba.”

Adam’s passing has not only devastated the ‘Pawn Stars’ family but also highlights the devastating impact of substance abuse on both the individual and their loved ones.

At this tragic time, our thoughts and prayers go out to the Harrison family. May they find the strength to navigate through this difficult loss.
