Food Network Star Arrested

Food Network star Darnell Ferguson, famously known as “SuperChef,” has found himself in legal trouble. Reports indicate that Ferguson was arrested on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and was subsequently held at Louisville Metropolitan in Kentucky.

According to WHAS 11, Ferguson is facing multiple serious charges, including strangulation, burglary, terroristic threatening, assault, menacing, criminal mischief, and theft of a stolen credit or debit card.

Although he has been released, records from the Kentucky inmate database confirm his arrest.

It seems that Ferguson’s arrest stemmed from an incident involving the illegal entry of a woman’s house. Witnesses state that he yelled at her and violently punched the walls. The situation took a terrifying turn when he turned his anger towards the woman herself, grabbing her by the neck and strangling her. He even threatened her life, leaving her gasping for breath until she lost consciousness.

While she was unconscious, Ferguson proceeded to remove her shorts and made possessive remarks, claiming that she belonged to him and no one else. Before leaving the scene, he also stole her credit card and identification.

In response to this horrifying incident, an emergency protection order has been issued. However, Ferguson has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Please note that details of this event are still emerging, and the investigation is ongoing.

Ferguson initially rose to fame on the Food Network by hosting shows such as Superchef Grudge Match and Worst Cooks in America. He has also gained recognition as a judge on renowned cooking competitions like Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games.
