A heartbreaking incident took place at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool, England, where a young woman tragically lost her life. Chloe Haynes, a vibrant 21-year-old social media personality, was found dead after a fatal mistake in the hotel bathroom. In the early hours of the morning, she accidentally pulled a wardrobe door, mistaking it for the entrance to the bathroom. The heavy wardrobe toppled over, crushing her and bringing a tragic end to her young life.
Emergency services were promptly called to the scene due to concerns for Chloe’s safety. Unfortunately, they arrived too late, and she was pronounced dead at 6:27 am. Chloe’s mother, Nicola Williams, explained that her daughter had been out for the night in Liverpool and returned to the hotel to rest. Disoriented and confused upon waking up, Chloe mistakenly opened the wardrobe door, thinking it was the bathroom or an exit. Tragically, the weight of the large wardrobe caused her windpipe to be crushed.
Chloe’s friend, who had also been out with her that night, returned to the hotel room and made the devastating discovery. Desperate for help, the friend called out, attracting the attention of two neighboring guests. Together, they managed to lift the wardrobe off Chloe, but their efforts were in vain. Despite the arrival of emergency services and their best attempts at resuscitation, Chloe could not be revived.
Nicola fondly remembers her daughter as an animal lover, particularly obsessed with her little dog, Archie. They shared countless beautiful memories together. Chloe’s petite and gentle nature earned her the nickname “birdy” from her mother. She was a quiet person, speaking only when necessary. However, in the past year, she had been blossoming, gaining confidence, and surrounding herself with a wide circle of friends. Chloe had a kind and caring nature, finding a special connection with gay men, which is how she formed a close friendship with the friend she visited Liverpool with.
