I’ve always been a fan of the legendary Sally Field, an incredibly gifted actress who has graced the screen for decades. Over the course of her storied career, she has shared many on-screen romances. But recently, she surprised fans by revealing her worst on-screen kiss.

During the filming of “Smokey and the Bandit,” Sally admitted that Reynolds’ on-screen kisses were less than enjoyable. She explained that he had a habit of “drooling” while they shared the screen, making it a challenge to focus on their scenes. Despite their on-screen chemistry, their off-screen relationship didn’t last, as they dated for only about five years.
In his memoir But Enough About Me, Reynolds expressed regret about their relationship, wishing he had put in more effort to make it work. However, in the last 30 years of his life, Field chose to distance herself from him, explaining that he was not someone she could be around. She emphasized that he wasn’t good for her and that she didn’t want to deal with the complexities of their relationship.
