The speculation began when Brady’s former teammate Rob Gronkowski suggested that Fields could be a potential match for the iconic quarterback. Gronkowski, who retired from the NFL in 2021, pointed to the chemistry between Brady and Field during a scene they filmed for their upcoming sports comedy movie, “80 For Brady.”
During an appearance on the SiriusXM podcast, Gronkowski jokingly asked Brady, “Tom, have you been considering dating Sally Field after that Oscar-worthy performance or what?” Brady, being a good sport, didn’t dismiss the speculation outright. He admitted that they enjoyed their time together during the filming of the scene and said, “We’ll see where it goes from here.”
Brady didn’t miss an opportunity to tease Gronkowski either. Referring to a scene Gronkowski had with Jane Fonda, Brady playfully said, “You and Jane Fonda had a good scene too, which was a little… I thought that was really spicy.” Gronkowski, expecting the comment, replied with a chuckle, “I knew you were going to say that!”
“80 For Brady,” produced by Brady’s 199 Productions, tells the story of four best friends and Brady superfans who travel to Houston, Texas, to watch the New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl. This particular game was one of the most entertaining matches in NFL history, featuring the biggest comeback ever in a Super Bowl as the Patriots overcame a 28-3 deficit to secure the victory.
While Brady’s on-screen chemistry with Fields sparked rumors, it’s worth noting that his off-the-field fortunes have undergone changes. Last year, his long-standing marriage to Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen came to an end. However, we wish both Tom and Gisele happiness as they move forward in their lives.
